Teacher Conference/April 23-24, 2016

The third Regional Teachers Conference took place on Saturday and Sunday, 23-24 April at the Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy.
The aim of the conference was to create environment where educators can share their ideas and experiences, learn and elaborate methods and attitudes, and enhance their understanding of the goal of teaching, and stay connected.
The conference was attended by 100 teachers representing the different regions of Georgia. 
Among keynote speakers were Prof. Dr. Halil Guven, Vice Dean, San Diego State University Georgia; Jenner Edelman, Millennium Challenge Corporation Georgia Country Director; Nino Chinchaladze, Head of the Center for International Education; Professor Bill Tong from SDSU, and Prof. Levan Gigineishvili, a GZAAT faculty. The GZAAT faculty members conducted subject teaching workshops for the conference participants.
